We have a Data Center Engineer role within the client's Security & Trust Organization (STO). The Government Trust & Technology Services team is comprised of three pillars, including threat intelligence, security operations, and product assurance. They focus on gathering data about threats through users’ behavior and activities via web hosting services and security services.
Looking for a Senior Datacenter Engineer to work in several secure environments to build, deploy, and support mission essential networks. This candidate must have a TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP). The successful candidate will work closely with a team to build and support secure computing environments that will be used operationally. These environments contain various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix), Virtualization (VMWare), web, email and database services, as well as dedicated desktop and thin client technology, so having experience working in a Data Center environment will be important to the success of the individual.
The person filling this role will be responsible for securing compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines, assist in the creation and manage of System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestone (PO&AM) documentation, as well as assisting with the accreditation process of the systems.
Requirements:
• Must be a US citizen
• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance AND Counterintelligence Poly
• Experience working on contracts mandating DIACAP, NISPOM and ICD requirements
• Proficient in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting network functions within a secure environment
• Experienced in performing network administration to include installations, configurations, maintenance and troubleshooting efforts with Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
• Adept with AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WINDOWS SERVER 2016/2019, WINDOWS 10
• Experience with VMWare's vSphere virtualization suite
• Skilled in system patching and vulnerability remediation
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Experienced in Linux and Windows systems and how they interact in the compute environment on the network.
• DoD 8570 Industry Certification in one or more of the following: CISSP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE
Desired:
• Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
• Experience with Centralized Logging Products (Splunk, etc.).
• Knowledge of COMSEC and encryption technologies
• Experience Administering Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
• Experience Administering Jira
