Primary Technologies • C++ • Linux / Unix • Oracle Database • SQL • Google Test Secondary Technologies • REST APIs • OpenAPI / Swagger • Java • C# • Windows application experience This program is a long-running sustainment platform that supports the F-22 fighter aircraft fleet. The application collects, stores, and manages maintenance and operational data used to support aircraft sustainment activities. collection of desktop-based applications used in support of F-22 sustainment operations. Key characteristics include: • GUI-based desktop applications • Runs primarily in Linux/Unix environments • Integrates with Oracle databases • Supports maintenance and operational data management • Some applications communicate across security-domain boundaries • Applications are deployed directly to desktop and server environments rather than modern cloud-native infrastructure The team is currently modernizing portions of the platform while maintaining support for existing systems. • Migrating legacy applications from older Unix/Solaris-based environments • Performing "lift-and-shift" style migrations where appropriate • Modernizing applications that have limited documentation • Enhancing maintainability and sustainability of existing software • Adding selected REST API capabilities to support newer applications We have 5 openings, with the goal of building out a self sufficient scrum team to handle this work so mid-level and senior level candidates are the target.
