Cleared Systems Engineers

I am looking for TS/SCI cleared Flight controllers onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is supporting 2 missions with 6 brand new missions currently on schedule to begin. You would be required to support a 24x7 panama shift schedule. Targeting pay between $50-65/hr but certainly negotiable depending on experience. Core Responsibilities The Flight Controller’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide mission operations support to an active satellite program, including daily flight control of satellites. • Support system maintenance activities such as procedure updates, architecture upkeep, and formal program milestones. • Work with systems engineers to conduct anomaly review board investigations as required. • Conduct testing using simulators and support the resolution of system discrepancies. • Develop, test, and validate command procedures, telemetry pages, and other operational products derived from vendor provided documentation. • Support operations readiness activities, including participation in Operations Configuration Control Boards (OCCBs) and other customer meetings. • Support real time operations through shift work, including 12 hour shifts and night shifts, as part of a 24x7 rotation. • Monitor vehicle state of health across all subsystems and perform both short term and long term telemetry trending. • Track space vehicle configuration, including hardware, software, and configurable item parameters. • Modify existing operational procedures to incorporate lessons learned from in flight performance and develop new procedures as required. • Provide accurate and timely status reporting to the Northrop Grumman Operations Manager. • Support internal and external customer meetings through proficient verbal and written communication, including documentation using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
