Apex Systems has multiple openings available for a Cyberspace Analyst in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoDs cyber expertise.. This role involves supporting critical cybersecurity operations, conducting detailed analysis, and coordinating responses to cyber incidents. You will play a key role in securing networks and providing actionable intelligence to safeguard national security interests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic recommendations to address complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Collaborate with key government and military stakeholders to coordinate cyberspace operations effectively.
- Conduct in-depth research and provide analysis to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
- Monitor, report, and present intelligence findings to decision-makers in a concise and impactful manner.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate network threats while implementing cybersecurity tools and solutions.
- Respond to cyber-related incidents, providing timely reports and actionable insights.
- Foster relationships with external organizations, including the FCC and DIB, to enhance network protection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline (required).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
- Developing recommendations and Courses of Action (COAs) to solve complex cybersecurity problems.
- Coordinating cyberspace operations with DoD Component Commands, Services, Agencies, Field Activities, Intelligence Agencies, Law Enforcement, or U.S. Government organizations.
- Conducting research and analysis of cybersecurity capabilities to meet data protection requirements.
- Reporting and presenting intelligence and information effectively to stakeholders.
- Demonstrating expertise in the lifecycle of network threats, including attack vectors and methods of exploitation, as well as configuring and implementing industry-standard capabilities such as web content filters and email security.
- Coordinating and supporting cyber-related incidents, including Malware Analysis Reports, alerts for potential malicious activity, and Suspicious Contact Reports.
- Engaging with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) on network protection initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in cybersecurity operations.
- Deep understanding of the lifecycle of cyber threats and methods of exploitation.
- Expertise in leveraging industry-standard cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
