Our client is looking for an DevOps Engineer - Level II to support the DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
• Must possess knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate and develop specifications and requirements for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging computer programs.
• Provide technical direction for personnel performing system and software development tasks including the review of products for quality.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction.
• Make recommendations for approval of major computer system installations.
• Prepare milestone status reports and presentations on system concepts.
• Provide daily supervision to supporting analysts and technicians.
One of the following:
• Security+ CE
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
• RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator (preferred) or
• RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist (preferred)
• Functional area certification (required prior to start date)
Required Skills
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred or at last eight years of technical experience analyzing, designing, implementing, configuring, and patching advanced computer systems.
