Apex Systems is looking for 2 TS/SCI Mid AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrators to support one our clients defense programs in San Antonio, TX!

Minimum Requirements

Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking for 2 TS/SCI Mid AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrators to support one our clients defense programs in San Antonio, TX!

Minimum Requirements
- must have at least a Top Secret clearance and able/willing to be processed for an SCI
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- must be able and willing to be in San Antonio, TX (if not currently local, will have until June 2025 to relocate) and work onsite 100% of the time
- must hold a Security + AND 1 to 2 of the four below (two (2) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification)
- Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster
- Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- RH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible
- 8 years IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms
- 1 year applied experience on containerized platforms
- Proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration related to ability to manage and operate workloads on AWS systems
- Demonstrated experience in system administration support and management related to Amazon EKS
- Demonstrated experience in system administration and supporting development and test teams in AWS and along with an applied understanding of Kubernetes and traditional RHEL servers
