Position: NetOps Jr.
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment #clearance
Location: Norfolk, VA
Schedule : Wednesday - Friday every other Saturday 1700 to 0500 EDT
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project will be a long term contract. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range:
Project Description:
• Infrastructure and Network Monitoring: Proactively monitor infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events.
• Incident Management: Handle incidents from triage through resolution, including necessary escalations.
• Infrastructure Repairs: Coordinate and direct remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.
• Root Cause Analysis: Provide thorough root cause analysis documentation in line with Government procedures.
• Data Center Support: Offer support for data center operations as needed.
• Shift Documentation: Record daily shift activities in reporting and ticketing tools, ensuring proper handover of any outstanding issues.
• Incident Notification: Notify Government representatives of incidents as required.

- Required Certifications: Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and/or an Operating System (OS)/Application certification such as:Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Network+
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) for Enterprise Services
- Preferred Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching
