Position: Acquisition/Logistics Analyst
Position Type: On-Site - 10% Travel
Position Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance: Secret - TS/SCI
Waypoint's customer is seeking a Senior Acquisition/Logistics Analyst to support their Army customer. This role requires extensive acquisition logistics experience within an Army environment and a deep understanding of Integrated Product Support.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure cohesive acquisition logistics, sustainment strategies, and supply chain policies align with current and future system baselines.
• Participate in IPTs, working groups, and IMS reviews between the Project Manager ( and OEMs to ensure alignment with user requirements and the Product Support Strategy (PSS).
• Monitor acquisition and sustainment support development, utilizing analytical tools such as Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Reliability Growth Analysis, Core Logistics Analysis, and Business Case Analysis.
• Apply critical thinking and strategic analysis to assess challenges and develop actionable courses of action (COAs) for Integrated Fires programs.
• Potentially lead IPTs or working groups in support of program objectives.
Requirements:
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Master's degree + 10 years or Bachelor's degree + 18 years of experience
• 10+ years in logistics or supply chain management within a government office
• Experience with Army systems (e.g., IBCS, LTAMDS, Sentinel, IFPC, PATRIOT) highly desired
• Strong team collaboration, communication, and technical writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
