This role encompasses responsibilities in electrical engineering, parts engineering, and configuration management, contributing to the design, manufacture, and testing of advanced hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineering: Participate in electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting for DRSERP projects, focusing on analog circuit design, schematic capture, and analysis.
- Parts Engineering Engage in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments, including the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE Parts. Work on components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, and thermistors.
- Configuration Management: Develop and implement configuration management plans and procedures, maintain configuration control of documents, software, and hardware, and ensure data integrity and accuracy by managing data records and databases.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management).
- Experience in electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting.
- Formal coursework, training, experience, and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics, and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and capacitors.
- Experience with the application of Configuration Management-related policies, procedures, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplined teams and manage systems engineering processes between geographically diverse teams and major subcontractor relationships.
