- Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $95,000 - $105,000 + Full Benefits

*** REQUIREMENTS ***

  • Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility)
  • Security+CE
  • CCNA
  • 2+ Years of Overall Network Firewall, NOC, Incident Response, or Similar Network Security Experience
  • 4+ Years of Overall/Combined Network Support
  • Experience with the following Network protocols and services:
  • Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
  • Access Control Lists
  • Layer 2 Switching
  • Spanning Tree
  • Packet Analysis


Job Description

  • Evaluate circumstances, identify root causes, and develop a plan for resolution.
  • Provide Tier I/II helpdesk support for all tenants in the DHA network.
  • Triage issues and resolve and/or escalate to the appropriate network teams for remediation.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to provide status updates on network issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues with a variety of different network devices and protocols.
  • Work in a team setting and make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation.
  • Document projects, support actions, and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff.
  • Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner dealing with a variety of different network devices and protocols following applicable reporting formats.
  • Support shifts to cover a 24x7 operational environment when required.
