Apex Systems is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Cybersecurity Telecommunications Analyst to join our partner at the Pentagon. This position will be in support of the DoD CIO.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Telecommunications Analyst to join our team. This role involves creating, writing, editing, and presenting cybersecurity policies for the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will work closely with their team to develop comprehensive cybersecurity policies, leveraging their strong background in telecommunications and cyber mobility policies.

Overview:

Job Title: Cybersecurity Telecommunications Analyst

Job Type: Full-time, W2, 6-month contract to hire

Location: Pentagon - Arlington, VA (currently hybrid 2-3 days onsite, could change to fully onsite)

Shift: Flexible EST core hours

Clearance: TS/SCI

Compensation: $55/hr while on contract & $110k/yr salary conversion

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies for the DoD.
• Engage in the writing, editing, and presentation of cybersecurity policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure policy development aligns with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• Serve as a DoD action officer, facilitating senior-level forums and providing polished written products or verbal presentations.
• Analyze and assess telecommunications systems to identify potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop strategies to enhance the security of telecommunications networks and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity, telecommunications, and mobility policies.
• Provide expert advice on the integration of cybersecurity measures within telecommunications infrastructure.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
• Experience with the DoD.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and telecommunications or mobility policies.
• Ability to serve as a DoD action officer, facilitating senior-level forums and providing polished written products or verbal presentations.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelors degree.

• 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
• Experience with the Pentagon.
• Knowledge of 5G.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• CISSP Certification
