DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
Task Description:
The Strategic Plans Consultant will support varied and complex deliverables across a variety of work streams for the Air Force Civil Engineer portfolio. Lead strategic planning efforts to navigate the complexities of U.S. posture in the Indo-Pacific region. Evaluate resource allocation to develop comprehensive combined contingency plans for the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility. This role is centered around the delivery of business transformation and strategy/policy implementation for the PACAF enterprise. Maintain Air Force governance and programmatic documents to create consistency across Air Force bases in terms of installation support services. They will analyze transformation requirements, provide strategic updates and recommendations to leadership in support of the PACAF Transformation, enable organizational change management, and facilitate policy and program integration efforts. Drive the creation of plans, engagements, and briefings for high-priority United States Indo-Pacific Command concepts and global campaign strategies. Facilitates collaboration with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Staff to integrate Indo-Pacific strategies into the National Defense Strategy.
Required skills/Level of Experience :
• Must be local to Hawaii, Hybrid with in-person at JBPHH
• Must hold a DoD Secret Clearance
• Associate's or equivalent degree
• 5+ years experience in Indo-PACOM, Pacific, or Headquarters Air Force environment
• Strong aptitude to deconstruct, tackle, and communicate complex problems
• Ability to identify gaps and determine solutions in Air Force problem sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strategy and policy development experience
• Experience with analyzing force presentation, communicating operation campaigns, and assess Air Force readiness to client environment.
