Position Title: Active Directory Engineer
Clearance Level: Secret
Working Hours: Day shift (Mon – Fri)
Duration: 7-month contract with potential extension
Location: Onsite Hanscom AFB, MA
Pay Range: $60/hr - $80/hr
Must-Have Skills/Experience/Certifications:
Provide Migration and Active Directory expert support to the Migration and Operations Teams.
Support the Program Manager by providing input to migration plans, schedules, troubleshooting, strategies, and USAF customer meetings.
Collaborate with the USAF to migrate AD users, groups, and endpoints.
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) plus 10-12 years of experience, Master's degree (MS) plus 8-10 years of experience, or PhD plus 5-7 years of experience.
MCSE certification.
Ten (10) or more years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory design, service management, and enterprise support.
CompTIA Security+ certification.
Minimum of Active Secret Clearance at the time of hire.

We are searching for a Senior-level Active Directory (AD) Engineer specializing in technical designs and support of large Enterprise Active Directory environments and the associated Microsoft product line and services. This role is onsite at Hanscom AFB.
The individual must have a solid understanding and experience with designing, documenting, implementing, migrating, and supporting enterprise-wide AD infrastructures and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) application tasks. This includes:
Microsoft Active Directory: Single and Multi-forests and domains.
Enhanced Security Administrative Environment, Trust, DNS, Replication, network segmenting and bridging topology, OU creation, policy creation, account creation, RBAC and identity management, Group Policy Object (GPO) management and implementation, AD health and security, troubleshooting, and reporting support.
Experience with Quest Migration Manager (QMM) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Migration team leader to complete the Discovery and Implementation phase, and assist with the Analysis and Design Phase of the migration of the Air Force IT Modernization solution across the 180+ USAF Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) bases.
Perform an in-depth discovery of each in-scope Air Force (AF) Major Command (MAJCOM) Active Directory (AD) Domain and Application systems to document current configurations, potential risks, level of effort, and identify points of contact (POC) for each MAJCOM and associated AF Bases.
Create in-depth documentation of the client source domains to capture detailed configuration needed to perform successful analysis and create a design for implementation.
LDAP integration, certificates, Group Policy administration, domain controller deployment and support, custom schema extensions, ADFS, PKI, and DNS, user logon scripts.
