Position: Global Test Engineer
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment #clearance
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 9 months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range: $90/hr. - $110/hr. based on experience
Project Description:
Immediate need for a Test and FQT Lead to assist with the organization and participation in Segment FQT events, preparation for software capability delivery for Flight and Ground Tests, as well as overall test capability events that span the duration of the PoP.
• Proven integration and test experience on large-scale DoD or Missile Defense Agency systems.
• Understanding of Command and Control concepts and experience integrating and testing with other external systems.
• Possess the technical skills to lead the System Test execution team (consisting of Event Mission Directors) within the Missile Defense System (MDS) Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program.
Requirements:
• Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
• Proven integration and test experience on large-scale DoD or Missile Defense Agency systems.
• Understanding of Command and Control concepts and experience integrating and testing with other external systems.
• Possess the technical skills to lead the System Test execution team (consisting of Event Mission Directors) within the Missile Defense System (MDS) Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program.
• Advanced degree and 12+ years experience or Bachelors with 14+ years experience or equivalent.
• Applies advanced concepts, theories, and principles and contributes toward the development of new principles and concepts.
• Works unusually complex problems with consultative direction; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to major organizational objectives and damage the image of the organization's technological capability.
• Advises top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
• Managerial/leadership experience or necessary skills
• Experience in project management and Systems Engineering.
