We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Desktop Support Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates.
Assist with network connectivity issues and troubleshoot basic network problems.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
Provide guidance and training to users on software and hardware usage.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and improve support processes.
Ensure all support activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a desktop support or helpdesk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with common software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Customer-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality support.
