IT Specialist (Desktop Support)
Apex Systems is immediately hiring for an IT Specialist (Desktop Support) with a large government client supporting the Navy & Marine Corps in Jacksonville, FL!

Location: 100% on-site at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours (start time between 6:30am and 8:30am) - 8-hour shifts
Contract Duration: Long-term rolling
Pay Rate: $33.84/hour
The candidate will assist the on-site team with in-person troubleshooting. Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: reimaging machines for new users, installing Active Directory & other software programs on desktops and laptops, and providing desk-side troubleshooting & support for employees.

Requirements:
- Active, DoD-issued Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
- 2-5 Years of IT experience
- Hands-on experience with both hardware repair & software repair
- Active Directory experience
- Experience with reimaging machines
- Strong understanding of enterprise, network, systems, operations, and support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to conceptualize, design, construct, test & implement portions of their internet technology solutions
- Collect, identify, define & organize detailed user and information technology requirements
- Experience with project planning
- Experience troubleshooting laptop & desktop PC's, peripheral equipment & basic outlook issues
- Windows Server Experience desired
- Windows 7/8/10 Experience desired
