Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team to support of a classified DoD customer. This is long term contract position (10 year program, in option year 1) located in Alexandria, VA.

Job Description:
As a Hybrid Cloud Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Hybrid Cloud Engineer joining our team to design, implement, and maintain multiple mission focused cloud capabilities.
How a Hybrid Cloud Engineer will Make an Impact:
Works closely with the customer and the larger team to deliver exquisite solutions using cloud resources.
Communicates across multiple lanes to deliver the required end state for the customer focused on mission success.
Workloads will occur in IL-2 upward requiring coordination with multiple elements.
Responsible for the complete lifecycle from ideation through retirement with high a cyclic rate.
Requires full use of Azure knowledge and Microsoft Prem, skills, and abilities coupled with a strong ability to intuitively understand the customer’s desired end state. AWS experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-Time, W2, LTC
Location: Alexandria, VA
Shift/Schedule: Flexible EST Core Hours
Clearance: Active TS. TS/SCI preferred
Compensation: up to $150,000/yr
Perks: 11 paid federal holidays off, accrue 56 hours of sick leave per year, and get 1 week (40 hours) of PTO in first year. Increases to 80 hours in year 2!
Required Experience:

Active TS, CompTIA Security+
Required Skills and Abilities:
