Project Scope: Seeking Digital Engineers/Systems Engineers with experience in modeling, simulation, and digital engineering. The DE team creates high-fidelity Digital Twins using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches to support new systems development for commercial and DoD/Intel customers. Engineers will collaborate with colleagues to solve complex technical tasks and deploy cutting-edge modeling and analysis tools. End goal is to build a digital trend study to inform the government sector in areas where they can improve their systems.
Responsibilities:
Work on a cross-functional team to develop cutting edge software solutions for DoD mission critical programs of record, ranging from C2 to intel to acquisition
Deliver modeling simulation and analysis (MS&A) integrating Cameo/SysML, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, ModelCenter and/or AGI STK tools and outputs
Apply knowledge of model-based languages such as UAF and SysML
Utilize MBSE tools such as MagicDraw/Cameo and MS&A tools to develop detailed models that integrate sub-system models across multiple domains (avionics, RF, EW, communication, aerodynamics, acoustics, EMI, human factors, etc.)
Enable/support development of automation capabilities and tying the Digital Thread
Develop vignettes and scenarios as part of larger kill web and operational architecture
Perform system engineering activities: trade studies, functional analysis, requirement decomposition/allocation, interface definition and specifications.
Work within an Agile Project Management framework and DevSecOps culture
Collaborate across stakeholders including customers, teammates and partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
2+ years contributing to or leading projects employing Digital Engineering
Solid understanding of systems lifecycle processes
Experience developing conceptual, logical, physical (MBSE) or analytical models (MS&A)
Ability to develop systems deliverables, to include requirements, CONOPs, IDD/ICDs, SDDs, test plans/procedures
Experience in Agile software systems development
Ability to work closely with software engineers to evolve the systems architecture
Ability to analyze problems with a flexible and creative approach, manage complex tasks and adapt to rapidly changing requirements
Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and implement in a dynamic environment
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Experience with SysML using Cameo/MagicDraw, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, ModelCenter and/or AGI SAM, Rhapsody or Sparx Enterprise Architect
Experience with DoDAF (either UDPM and/or UAF)
Experience with GOTS MS&A tools (AFSIM, EWIRDB/TMAP, NGTS, OneSAF or similar)
Experience with COTS MS&A tools: MATLAB, Ansys Minerva, AGI STK, Phoenix ModelCenter, Dassault SOLIDWORKS, Keysight EXata or similar)
Experience developing CAD or CAE models
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, C++
Experience with DevSecOps including use of CI/CD pipelines
Ability to develop new plugins/scripts for MBSE and MS&A tools/frameworks
