Position Summary:

Creek Technologies is seeking a full-time, on-site Information Security Support Engineer to support Barksdale Air Force Base. This role will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IT and security, acting as the primary liaison between Creek Technologies and the customer. The position will involve collaboration with Creek Technologies HQ IT personnel, HQ information security teams, and security liaisons at other locations. The primary focus will be the planning, implementation, maintenance, and accreditation of the unclassified Bomber Academic Contract Network (BACON), while also supporting the security of classified networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide client support, troubleshooting issues with accounts, endpoints, servers, and network devices, including system outages.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of changes and upgrades to networks.
  • Manage network domains using Active Directory Group Policy.
  • Assist with ATO/ cATO /RMF compliance for one unclassified network.
  • Lead ATO/ cATO /RMF compliance efforts for a classified network.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and implement remediation actions.
  • Manage patch deployment, troubleshooting, and overall patch management.
  • Monitor network and endpoint security, addressing and remediating threats.
  • Maintain asset management inventories.
  • Administer workstations, servers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco).
  • Serve as an IT and security SME and a liaison between the customer and Creek Technologies.

Experience:
  • Administration of Windows 10/11 Enterprise, Microsoft Server 2019/2022 (Standard/Enterprise), and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Experience with LAN, switching, and routing (e.g., Cisco).
  • Administration of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with network vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus).
  • Experience with network and endpoint security monitoring tools (e.g., SentinelOne Singularity Platform).
  • Administering or securing classified information systems.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
  • Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), SCAP Compliance Checker, or Evaluate-STIG.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft OBDC, and PHP Manager.
  • Familiarity with eMASS , RMF Knowledge Service, DoD Cyber Exchange, Non-Person Entity (NPE) Portal, and NPE Issuance Methods.
  • Knowledge of AF DoD PKI/PKE, Multi-factor Enablement (MFE), InstallRoot , and Middleware Software.
  • Experience with IT requirements management and customer service.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a related role.
  • IC2 CISSP, CompTIA Security+ ce , or equivalent.

Clearance:
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
