Apex Systems has an urgent need for a Network Engineer in Pensacola, FL! This will be a long-term contract position supporting one of our Largest Government Clients on the East Coast. Please see below for details.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Pensacola, FL
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Compensation: $35 - $40/hour depending on level of experience
Requirements:
• Active Secret Clearance
• CCNA (or willing to obtain w/in 6 months)
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CSA+, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Related field (or relevant experience in lieu)
Job Description:
• Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems.
• Administer LAN/BAN/WANs.
• Schedule conversions and cutovers.
• Coordinate with all responsible users and sites.
• Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
• Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
