Title: CAD Specialist
Duration: Direct hire/full time
Location: Hybrid on site in Virginia Beach, VA
Travel: 10% CONUS travel when needed (client pays for travel)
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $95,000 annually contingent upon experience
Job Description:
Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a CAD Specialist to develop and deliver CAD documents detailing shipboard wiring installations, computer network systems, and specific computing devices. Primary responsibilities include:
• Produce CAD drawings depicting computing network wiring installations with details such as types of cables, cable penetration points in the ship’s hull, paths taken for each cable, and connection points
• Produce CAD drawings detailing components housed in shipboard computer racks
• Produce CAD wiring diagrams showing connections of individual cables to various computing equipment
• Produce CAD drawings used as part of DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages
• Print various informational graphics, spreadsheets, and visual documents using a plotter
Job Requirements
• Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
• Must have 3 years or more of progressive experience with AutoCAD or Visio generating computer network diagrams or drawings
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
