Serving the U.S. Federal government, state and local governments, education, and publicly funded healthcare, we provide senior technical expertise, deep knowledge of the public sector domain, and a strong commitment to the missions of this unique group of customers.
Cisco will assist United States Air Force Europe (USAFE) with a centralized deployment of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) across the MAJCOM. Additionally, Cisco will assist USAFE with the goal to provide regionalized management from USAFE Headquarters at Ramstein Air Force Base to make as much progress as possible towards meeting the DISA Comply to Connect mandate to achieve Phase 4 compliance.
Who You'll Work With
The DOD team is comprised of geographically dispersed project managers and engineers that design, architect, and support work on critical networks with innovative Cisco solutions. This team is leading the way in providing foundational engineering and operations support with the expectation for networks and data centers to perform at the highest possible levels. We work with our customer in getting their infrastructure ready for future architectures and solutions and assisting them in navigating through proof of concepts and introduction of the same. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills are traits of successful consultants in this organization.
Who You Are
A successful candidate has a strong background in Cisco ISE, network security design and implementation.
Minimum qualifications include:
5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer
Experience supporting DOD customers preferred
Strong documentation skills including requirements, Network design, testing, post implementation sustainment.
Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage
Exemplary command of the English language, both oral and written
Nice to have include:
Bachelors Degree in Business, with focus on Cyber Security
Demonstrated ability in support of continuous improvement of all processes, methodologies and services
Demonstrated understanding of Government contracting under the FAR/DFAR
