- Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect
- Location: 100% Remote
- Contract Layout: Est. "6 Month Contract to Perm Hire"
- Contract Rate: $90.00 - $100.00 / Hourly
- Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $185,000 - $195,000 + Benefits

- 6+ Years of AWS Cloud Architect Experience
- Client Facing Experience (Strong ability to roadmap, goal is to help Gov. client focus on a singular product moving forward)
- AWS GovCloud Experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Strong ability to roadmap (goal is to help Gov. client focus on a singular product moving forward)
Will be working 3 separate cloud projects w/ 3 separate contractors
-Will need the ability to Develop Agile processes w/in the cloud project
Client facing, working closely w/ Gov Cloud Manager and Gov Ops Manager
-Will be tasked with contributing and possibly holding client facing and project meetings
-Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, including architecture design, security best practices, and service offerings
-Deep understanding of cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, with the ability to recommend the right services based on customer needs
-Strong familiarity with zero trust networking principles and their implementation in cloud architectures
-Proven experience in DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
-Guide the transition from manual deployment processes to automated, IaC-driven solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible
-Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs are implemented effectively and align with customer expectations
-Create detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and presentations to communicate designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
-Proven experience in designing cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
Ability to assess existing IT environments and recommend cloud solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements
