Position: Watch Officer (network monitoring)
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance
Location: Camp Lejeune, NC
Estimated Duration: 12+ months
Pay Rate Range: $30-35/hr (experience dependent)
Schedule: Various schedules available Monday-Sunday, looking for candidates potentially open to days and nights (Full-time 40 hour weeks)
Requirements:
Must work onsite in Camp Lejeune, NC
An active DOD issued Secret Security Clearance
CompTIA Security + Certification
5 years of relevant experince
- 3 years of customer services experience in an IT environment
- 2 years of IT ticketing system experience
- 1 year Router/Switch configuration experience
Project Description:
Monitor Enterprise Network unclassified and classified networks email, voice, and official message traffic.
Perform Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and after-hours
Regional Service Desk (RSD) support to include routine checks of network, ongoing maintenance, and operational support status.
Inform the Senior Watch Officer of any service degradations or outages.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escalate technical issues.
Open and close tickets.
Correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services.
