Title: RDT&E Technical Specialist - Level II
On-site: in Suffolk, VA M-F day hours
Type: 6 month contract to hire with client
Pay: $35-45/hr on contract then $95k conversion
Looking for an RDT&E Technical Specialist – Level II to support the our clients DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center.
This role is 100% onsite.
Qualifications:
At minimum eight years of technical experience analyzing, designing, implementing, configuring, and patching advanced computer systems
Active DoD issued Secret Clearance
IAT II Certification (One of the following): Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator, RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
A Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction for personnel performing system and software development tasks including the review of products for quality.
Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction.
Make recommendations for approval of major computer system installations.
Prepare milestone status reports and presentations on system concepts.
Provide daily supervision to supporting analysts and technicians.
Must possess knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate and develop specifications and requirements for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging computer programs.
