Position: Operations Watch Tech
Location: Andrews AFB
Duration: Long Term Contract (Goes until July of 2029)
MUST HAVES:
• Active Secret | Security+ CE | 5+ Years of IT Experience
• Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing system
• Foundational knowledge of monitoring tools SCOM and Solarwinds

*NIGHT SHIFT* : Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday – Saturday
*HOURS*: 10PM-6:30AM
Description:
Operations Watch Technician is a critical role within CySC, responsible for monitoring the network and critical services using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), SolarWinds, and site-specific tools.
The ideal candidate:
• Will have strong technical background and a fundamental understanding of Windows Servers, networking, DHCP, subnetting, other IT disciplines.
• They should also have strong written and verbal communication skills, as they will be responsible for identifying outages, determining impacted services, and communicating this information to technicians and other work centers.
• Need to be able to work well in a team setting as well as independently and have experience with ticketing application such as Remedy.
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting on authorized service interruptions.
• Will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the network.
• Should be able to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
