Warehouse Associate

Apex Systems is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the Department of State.

Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Lorton, VA
Hours: Mon-Friday 3PM-11PM
Compensation: $25/hr (weekly pay)
Job type: 4+ month contract, highly likely it will extend


• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
• Perform consistent inventory checks (product quantity, barcode, serial number and condition)
• Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
• Receiving daily deliveries.
• Data Entry for receiving material into a warehouse receiving/inventory system
• Putting away received material into inventory.
• Staging materials for shipment.
• Building of Crates / Boxes for shipments.
• Packing material into Boxes/Crating for shipments.
• Preparing shipping Documents
• Loading/Shipping of material.
• Minimal lifting of 60 lbs. daily.
• Plus, any other task that are assigned
Qualifications:
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
• Educational Requirements: High School
• 2+ years of Warehouse Experience
• Strong communication
• Strong work ethic, professional attitude and reliable
