Network Engineer (Hybrid 2x/week)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a federal program in Raleigh, NC. This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week on site. Candidates must be eligible for a government public trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

· Configure and manager DNS servers, zones, records

· Maintain DHCP servers and address pools

· Perform IP address planning, allocation, tracking, subnetting, space management

· Implement and enforce security policies for DDI

· Respond to incidents related to DDI in a timely manner

Requirements for the Network Engineer:

· 8+ years of experience in network engineering

· Bachelor's degree in a related technical field

· Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

· Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management

· Knowledge of security concepts, encryption, best practices

· Experience with scripting, APIs, Splunk flows

Compensation for the Network Engineer:

· $110,000-150,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
