Knowledge Management Specialist

As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user's place and design the best way for them to e nga ge with the KM system. We're looking for someone creative like you to craft the ultimate UX. Let's transform the way the government interacts with the client's Mission Training Center ( MTC ) KM system.
As the Knowledge Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing KM initiatives, providing administrative oversight of the SharePoint web portal, and managing content on the MTC SharePoint portal. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing knowledge management initiatives under the oversight of the program manager and government lead, providing administrative oversight of the current MTC SharePoint web portal, routinely working with and accessing Government sensitive data, representing the government at meetings and conferences as required, managing content on the MTC SharePoint portal, and interfacing with MTC government KM leads.
You'll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, interface design, and front-end development. You'll advocate for the prioritizations of design- center ed changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with advance KM training
- Knowledge of architecture and how knowledge flows across people, processes, and available technology
- Ability to design, test, and implement organizational knowledge management initiatives with direction or guidance from the onsite manager or government leadership
- Ability to develop and use modern technology such as relational database systems or analysis of verbal and numerical data to develop and strengthen MTC day-to-day information flow and distribution, validating processes through performance measurements and program evaluations
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8750.01-M Certification
