Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Business Unit (ASBU) has openings for a Dimension Control Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT.
The Dimension Control Technician will be a part of the Tool Die Making team within the Tooling department and will have considerable knowledge of the job with substantial acquaintance with an understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job and be able to perform more advanced functions and resolve routine questions and problems.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate, and collaborate across all levels, will thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment with high expectations, enjoy significantly diverse assignments, demonstrate a high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of the product and have high integrity to self-report errors to a supervisor when detected. **This position requires a willingness to work any shift including nights/weekends and requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role.**

Salary Range: $60,800.00 - $101,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Lay out, fabricate, and repair a variety of standard and nonstandard composite material parts.
- Plan work to be performed and determines methods and sequence of operations working from tool design drawings or own designs.
- Develop and designs holding devices and jig and fixture details.
- Prepare operational sequences and shop drawings covering parts fabrication and assembly to be performed by others.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications Level 3:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years tool and die or related tool building, composite materials builds and repairs in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in repairing, fabricating and maintaining various shop aids used during the manufacturing process.
- Significant use and understanding of various hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and proficiently within MS applications i.e., MS Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance within a reasonable timeframe as required by the business.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable timeframe
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35 pounds and ascend and descend ladders
- Ability to work inside and outside in a warehouse environment and a shop floor environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in repairing, fabricating and maintaining various shop aids used it the manufacturing process.
- Experience with maintenance related ERP systems such as Maximo and HMI.
- Experience using a forklift and overhead crane.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing techniques and implementation.
- Certified Green Belt course completion.
- Welding experience
