Required Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience designing and implementing data architectures, including large-scale data environments such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data mesh frameworks
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage, processing, and analytics
- Demonstrated two (2) years of experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams
- Experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda)
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to support domain requirements
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks including data privacy, access controls, and lineage requirements
- Experience in data mesh architecture implementation and ongoing support
Key Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of data governance, cloud-based data infrastructure, and data mesh architecture
- AWS expertise, particularly with data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda)
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to collaborate with domain experts and cross-functional teams
- Experience with SAFe Agile methodology and practices
- Proficiency with data catalog management and automation tools
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and security requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related technical field
- Certifications in data management, cloud platforms, or data governance
