Security Specialist (SS) - Arlington, VA; Must have an active TS

Synertex is seeking a Security Specialist (SS) to provide security support for a government building in Arlington, VA.

Day Shift, 0700-1500, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)

Clearance Required: Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• M anaging secure facility access controls using systems like the Defense Information Security System (DISS) and Scattered Castles (SC)
• V alidating clearances
• P rocessing Visit Requests
• A ssisting with indoctrinations
• D eveloping and revising SCIF/SAP-F lifecycle documentation
  • P repare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security policies, and directives to ensure compliance with operational security standards.
• Maintaining control over facility keys, locks, safes, badges, and access, as well as validating Personally-Owned Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) and Medical PEDs (MPEDs)

REQUIREMENTS:

• TS with SCI Eligibility
• Minimum of five years of specialized experience in various security domains, including Physical, Personnel, Industrial, Information, and Technical Security. This experience should involve maintaining the security integrity of Department of Navy Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAP-Fs).
