Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This is a full time onsite position.

Position Title : Enterprise Architect
Position Location : This position is full time, on-site in the National Capital Region
Daily Responsibilities:
•Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap in alignment with business strategy and IT governance standards.
•Lead architectural design sessions and define technology standards, guiding solutions to be modular, scalable, and secure.
•Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with mission requirements, agency standards, and compliance mandates.
•Oversee architectural governance processes, ensuring adherence to SAFe frameworks, and federal enterprise architecture standards (FEAF).
•Integrate security at every level of system design in line with DevSecOps principles.
•Guide the selection and implementation of tools, platforms, and patterns supporting microservices, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
•Drive digital modernization initiatives including cloud migration, zero-trust architecture, data strategy, and shared service adoption.
•Provide technical leadership and mentoring to solution and domain architects.
•Evaluates and proposes changes to architectural runways for the client in the following areas:
o Development
o Infrastructure
o Security
o CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery)
o Monitoring (cost, security, performance)
o Automated Testing
o Configuration Management
•Aligns client IT and Data strategy with needs of users.
•Creates technical documentation to evaluate and track DevSecOps maturity of client.
Required Years of Experience (min) :
•10 years relevant experience
Required Degree/Certifications :
•Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (+2 years) Computer Science, Information Architecture, or related field
Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas :
•Experience working in federal healthcare/Health IT systems is preferred
•Experience evaluating complex IT solutions and proposing changes to architectural runways.
•Proven experience integrating DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines in complex environments.
•Hands-on knowledge of modern technologies including containers (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API management.
•Experience aligning IT And Data strategies with user needs.
•Excellent technical documentation and time management skills, handling multiple simultaneous and changing priorities.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to both work independently and function effectively as a member of a team.
Required Clearance :
•U.S. citizenship required. Candidates must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate by management.
