Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects within a defined area, utilizing standard terminology and guidelines from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and industry best practices. The candidate will have the following areas of responsibility:
- Interface with the COR
- Direct the efforts through the company's internal management system
- Provide project progress visibility to ensure on-time completion of requirements
- Provide day-to-day management of project efforts, which involves handling all concerns/issues/obstacles encountered
- Provide documentation of all deliverables and be capable of mediating between different task efforts
- Prepare and input monthly reports
- Manage employees
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Minimum five years of experience supporting Joint or service requirements development, operational planning, performance assessment, and readiness assessment analysis within the DoD or U.S. Navy
- Five years of experience in managing complex projects or programs
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Create technically correct reports and correspondence
- Coordinate scheduling and support for the Joint/Navy Warfare Training System and Joint/Navy Warfare Training Plans
Required Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree in operations research, operations management, applied psychology, or other related field of study
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
