The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Maritime Industrial Base program. As part of the Supplier Resiliency Team, you will utilize your expertise in industrial engineering to evaluate, improve, and optimize supplier processes. This role will include assessing supplier capabilities, recommending improvements for efficiency, and ensuring alignment with program goals. The work will align closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the SME for industrial engineering processes in the Supplier Resiliency Team, focusing on optimizing supplier operations and processes.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of supplier capabilities, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance supplier production processes, achieving 1st pass yield and on-time delivery targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on Lean Six Sigma methodologies, working with suppliers to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement within the supply chain.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to manufacturing inefficiencies and supplier performance issues.
  • Develop and provide technical documentation, reports, and presentations to senior leadership, capturing progress and outcomes of improvement initiatives.
  • Support the ongoing development of best practices and standards for supplier assessments and process improvements.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • An Active Secret Clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A Minimum of ten years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing, process optimization, or supplier management.
  • Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and experience driving continuous process improvements in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience with supplier assessments, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$56,000-$117,500
