Summary
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Content Specialist to oversee the organization, management, and optimization of digital content across a SharePoint environment supporting Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) at NASA HQ. This role involves structuring, maintaining, and improving document libraries, workflows, and collaboration tools to enhance productivity and knowledge sharing across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in SharePoint, content governance, and user training.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SharePoint, content governance, and user training.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SharePoint content libraries, ensuring accurate organization and compliance with NASA policies.
- Develop and implement governance strategies for content management, version control, meta data, and permissions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine content structures, metadata, workflows, documents, pages, and libraries.
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Ensure workflow efficiency by monitoring and troubleshooting errors
- Regularly update and maintain SharePoint sites, ensuring that content is relevant, accurate, and accessible.
- Assist in the migration of documents and content from legacy systems to SharePoint.
- Optimize SharePoint search functionality to enhance user experience and content discoverability.
- Provide training and support to end-users on best practices for SharePoint content management.
- Monitor and analyze SharePoint usage to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Stay updated on SharePoint updates, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvements.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide real-time insights and SharePoint data.
- Ensure SharePoint performance and storage efficiency through regular audits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SharePoint content management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online.
- Experience with document libraries, metadata management, workflows, and permissions.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a government issued Top Secret clearance.
