Responsibilities of the Professional Test Specialist:
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a full-time Professional Test Specialist to support the U.S. Navy's NSIPS-NP2 program. NSIPS-NP2 is the Navy's single, field-entry, electronic pay and personnel system for all USN/USNR Sailors. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing system development to ensure effective performance.

Responsibilities of the Professional Test Specialist:
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a full-time Professional Test Specialist to support the U.S. Navy's NSIPS-NP2 program. NSIPS-NP2 is the Navy's single, field-entry, electronic pay and personnel system for all USN/USNR Sailors. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing system development to ensure effective performance.
The Professional Test Specialist will:
- Provide guidance for evaluating, analyzing, modifying, configuring, testing, and implementing ERP systems.
- Collaborate with business users and management to create functional requirements for customizing and configuring workflows and software packages.
- Test and maintain configurations to ensure the system meets business functional needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related hardware, software, user access, or other issues.
- Monitor systems regularly to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure proper documentation and up-to-date user guides.
- Develop and document testing processes and procedures as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree (or 5 additional years of Navy HR experience in lieu of degree).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
- 8+ years of current experience in Navy HR policy and law.
- Working knowledge of Navy Pay and Personnel systems and other DoD systems.
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL scripting and tools is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Client Quality Center and Serena Dimensions/Phire is preferred.
