Job Description :
This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Additional responsibilities include:
Network Design and Implementation:
•Designing, planning, and implementing LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure.
•Configuring and installing Cisco network switches
•Implementing network security measures
•Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
•Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues.
•Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.
•Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades.
•Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates
•Documenting network configurations and procedures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
•US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
•BA in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
•Five (5) years of experience in network administration
•Five (5) years of experience configuring Cisco switches
•Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates
•Current CCNA and Security + Certification
Security Clearance :
•Must have a Top Secret/SCI
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120k - $165k
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
