We are seeking a Process Engineer / Industrial Engineer to provide mission-critical engineering support for the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.

As a Process/Industrial Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and engineering services in support of AMARG's unique mission: aerospace storage and preservation, aircraft parts reclamation, regeneration, depot-level maintenance overflow, and aircraft disposal. Your contributions will directly enhance the performance, efficiency, and productivity of one of the most complex and specialized aircraft maintenance organizations in the country.

(This Position is Contingent on Contract Award)

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Support & Process Development:

Provide direct technical support to AMARG operations, including research, analysis, design, and documentation of industrial processes.
Develop detailed process instructions (e.g., process orders) that align with the standards of AFSCMAN 21-102.
Design and analyze the layout of equipment, workspaces, and materials to maximize operational efficiency and throughput.
Advise government leadership on the performance and optimization of the "production machine," encompassing all aspects of AMARG's maintenance and logistics functions.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:

Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to AMARG government personnel as requested by the Government Representative (GR).
Collaborate with internal teams to support the continuous improvement of industrial and maintenance practices.
Process Improvement & Monitoring:

Identify and implement lean engineering strategies to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Monitor and report on performance metrics to support leadership in decision-making and resource planning.
Qualifications & Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum three (3) years of professional engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environment.
Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and document technical industrial processes.
Experience working with or supporting complex production or maintenance operations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Ability to work on-site at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ.
