LOCATION: Bethesda, MD ONSITE 100%
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required.
PAY RATE: $170,000.00

Job Summary Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager:

Mindbank is looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager in addressing facilities needs and requirements in compliance with local, state, and Federal statutes and regulations as well as Congressional mandates. Work will be performed at all three campuses (Bethesda, McLean, Reston).
We are looking for someone who is more focused on the facilities operations vs. architect blueprints, etc.

Responsibilities for Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager:
• Draft, edit, and coordinate technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables in support of customer requirements, Congressional mandates, and other briefings or requirements.
• Develop cost estimates, facility technical proposals, statements of work, change requirements and project schedules for various facility projects.
• Review customer requirements, attend customer O&M project meetings, and provide feedback on new construction projects.
• Assist with Data calls related to Mechanical and Electrical Engineering work.
• Coordinate facility work orders.
• Provide survey coordination for routine electrical/mechanical surveys.
• Work with vendors to draft updates to the Facilities operating plan for the site.

Qualifications for Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager:

Basic Qualifications:
• Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience
• Twelve (12) years of experience in engineering and/or facility management
• Understanding red/black power isolation and grounding requirements.
• Working knowledge with electric power generation systems and components, electrical switchgear systems, HVAC systems, building controls, and life and safety requirements.
• Reading and interpreting construction technical design drawings and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to support occasional after-hour site outages both planned and unplanned.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional Engineering registration
