Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Network Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the networks of a large, complex technical Electronic Warfare (EW) system by acting as the senior technical referent.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Collects, interprets, and reports network data and individual customer performance data.
  • Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
  • Architecting solutions within the Cisco family of products that may include: CUCM, IM and Presence, Unity, Meeting Servers, Expressway, Meeting Management, and Jabber client.
  • Identifies and resolves technical problems related to the installation, upgrade, and daily operations of the Client's technical systems.
  • Works with industry providers from other US Government agencies and commercial providers to ensure seamless performance of the Client's technical systems.
  • Must also be knowledgeable of network management tools such as HPOV, Netcool, and Nerve Center; web development tools including CGI, HTML, and Active Server Pages (ASP); and operating systems such as Solaris and Windows NT.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or a related field) from an ABET accredited program.
  • Relevant certification in computer networking, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or CompTIA Network+.
  • 5+ years experience working with network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • 5+ years experience in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols like OSPF and EIGRP.
  • 5+ years experience applying network security principles, including firewall configuration, access control, and encryption.
  • 5+ years experience in briefing preparation, presentation, and delivery of verbal and visual reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Masters of Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or a related field from an ABET accredited program).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience related to networking, installation, testing, and maintenance of both fixed site and mobile UAS and RCIED platforms.
  • Experience with installation of systems at domestic and overseas facilities utilizing fiber optics, ethernet, and microwave systems for content delivery and control.
  • Service in the foreign field to include hostile, austere, and denied areas and conflict zones.

Salary Range: $144,800.00 - $260,600.00
