Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chemist/Technician to join our team. This role involves working in our chemistry laboratory to conduct various tests, measurements, and inspections. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a lab environment, the ability to follow established procedures, document results accurately, and collaborate effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate test/measurement apparatus and perform chemical tests as per established protocols.
Accurately record and document test data, ensuring compliance with defined methods and procedures.
Prepare reports and present recorded data in a prescribed format.
Maintain chemical and sample inventory, and perform routine lab maintenance such as cleaning glassware and equipment.
Operate laboratory equipment such as vacuum pumps and environmental chambers.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues and develop solutions as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
Assist with other project-related tasks as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Experience working in a chemistry laboratory environment is required.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and develop practical solutions.

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in MS Windows, Office Products, and familiarity with Apple OS.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and able to use a respirator.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a team-oriented environment.

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Industrial Security clearance.
