GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN A STELLAR GROUP!

Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Tier II Help Desk Technician with at least three years of professional IT support experience, including mobile and wireless devices. This position is 100% onsite at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Candidates must have at least a Secret clearance; an unexpired Security+ certification is preferred but not required. This position pays between $70,000 – $75,000 based on each candidate’s skills and professional experience - we also offer various health benefit options, 10 vacation days, 11 holidays, a 401(k), and more!

You will be working in a fast-paced, VIP environment. Current or previous experience supporting the Navy is required.

Help Desk Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop and workstation issues.
• Assist with help desk duties, including installation and administration of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Serve as the point of contact for escalated Tier I troubleshooting of PC hardware/software, printers, and network applications.
• Provide mobile device support (e.g., secure smartphones, tablets, laptops).
• Provide wireless support; coordinate requirements for wireless assets as needed.
• Install, test, and operate wireless and data communication network devices.
Help Desk Technician Qualifications:

Candidates MUST meet the following requirements to be considered. Please make sure you include technical details in the work experience sections of your resume so I can see you have the required experience and skills.

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in the IT field, with specialized experience in PC and wireless technologies, including PC operating systems, networking and mail standards, and working in a team-based help desk environment. Experience with or supporting the Navy is needed for this role.
• At least 1 year of Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience (e.g., managing secure smartphones, tablets, and laptops).
• Experience with IT asset services and NMCI accounts for the Navy is highly desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and positive customer service attitude.
• Security+ certification preferred.
