Software Engineer I

Kavaliro is seeking a Software Engineer I to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description:
This is a DevOps position - Hybrid (two days remote) Required skills:

• Experience with Linux CLI, Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster,
• Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management,
• Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)

Desired skills:

• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible,
• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm,
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards,
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards, Security+ certification (CWIP) would be great but is not required

Required Skills:

• Seven plus (7+) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four plus (4+) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• This position is hybrid with two days remote

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
