Automation Test Engineer

Solidus is searching for an Automated Software Tester.

Remote: 100% core hours 9:00 - 3:00 EST

Day in the life:

• Primary Responsibilities include considering the following for each new Story, Bug, or Refactor:
  • Test needed on MilCloud
  • Test needed on Government Laptop
  • Test needed in Internet Explorer or Edge
  • Concurrency, Volume, Fuzz, Load, Disruption, Operational Thread and Data Migration Testing
• Create Test Cases: Based of the above analysis, determine the test cases that should be run against the software
• Evaluate & Run Test Cases: Determine the test cases that are already captured by automated tests
• Determine the test cases that are not covered by automated tests, but should be. Then, either create the automated tests or create tasks in the backlog to create the automated tests. Determine the test cases that should be tested manually. Run each manual test case & record the results
• Knowledge of gherkin syntax, Cucumber tests, and Rubymine (testing tool) or testing products deployed to cloud environments (AWS) are key required skills.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• US Citizenship and Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, Active Secret Strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years experience
• Strong background in Automated testing
• Experience with Selenium, SoapUI
• Scripting experience
• Ability to perform Performance, Load, and Scanning Capabilities.
