Key Responsibilities
Software Development and Integration
Develop real-time simulation software for ground and aerial training platforms.
Integrate visual and sensor models with leading simulation engines (e.g., VBS Blue IG or Unreal Engine).
Provide technical support for software plug-ins, system integration, and testing within a DevSecOps environment.
System Design and Documentation
Design and document solutions within established software factory processes.
Participate in technical interchange meetings with diverse stakeholders.
Testing and Validation
Conduct thorough integration testing to ensure seamless performance and compatibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues during testing and fielding.
Support and Collaboration
Contribute to systems engineering initiatives, including requirements analysis.
Offer guidance on product selection, capacity planning, and performance management.
Execute additional tasks as assigned by project leadership.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development, engineering, or architecture.
Proven track record in simulation software development and integration, including sensor modeling.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in C++ and Java, working in both Windows and Linux environments.
Familiarity with graphics development (OpenGL, video processing libraries), real-time processing, and MST standards (e.g., CIGI).
Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
Experience in simulation testing and system validation.
Clearance
Active Secret level security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with graphics systems and simulation engines (e.g., VBS, Blue IG, Unreal Engine).
Knowledge of communication and simulation standards (e.g., gRPC, IEEE, MIL-STD).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
