MindPoint Group/Tyto Athene is searching for a Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
· Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
· Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems
· Responsible for server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
· Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
Required:
· 8 years of general work experience or 6 years of relevant IT experience with 4 years of administration and operations of servers
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of general experience.
· Experience with supporting, operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure
· Must have a working knowledge of
· DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
· Microsoft Server 2012-2019
· Active Directory
Desired:
· Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
· Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure
· Windows Server Administration
· Windows Desktop Administration
· Citrix Workspace and Apps
