Senior Cyber Data Scientist/Analyst

Graham Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Data Scientist/Analyst to join our cybersecurity and data analytics team. This role combines deep expertise in cybersecurity with advanced data science methodologies to detect, prevent, and respond to evolving threats. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset to drive innovation in cyber threat detection and mitigation.

Location: Vegas, NV

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply machine learning models and data analytics techniques to identify cybersecurity threats and anomalies
• Analyze large-scale datasets to detect patterns, trends, and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and IT teams to integrate data science capabilities into security operations
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and data scientists
• Translate technical findings into executive-level reports and recommendations
• Contribute to the development of automated threat detection and response capabilities
• Manage and support data-driven cybersecurity initiatives from concept to execution

Required Skills:

• Must have an active Q or TS/SCI or higher clearance. Candidates with an active Q clearance will be given preference.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and data science
• At least one of the following certifications is required: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CLDS (Certified Lead Data Scientist), CADSAI-Cyber (Certified Applied Data Science and AI for Cybersecurity Professionals).
• Strong technical skills in:
  • Data analysis and machine learning
  • Cybersecurity tools and principles
  • Threat modeling and vulnerability management
• Leadership experience, including leading technical teams and managing cybersecurity/data projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, analytical mindset
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with external stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field
• All certifications listed in required
