Job Description:
WaveLink is seeking a Network Engineer with a minimum of 12 years experience to support design, development, and implementation of multi-level security (MLS) network architectures utilizing Cisco IOS and devices. Ability to configure networking and troubleshoot network issues via Cisco command line. Perform network and firewall engineering, including build, configure, and troubleshooting software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades. Support diagnosis and resolution of computer, server, and network system issues, monitoring and administration functions.
Required Education and Experience:
BS/BA degree with minimum 12 years of related experience
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and 5 years network experience, OR
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with 10 years network experience
Linux + certification or equivalent would be nice to have
A robust understanding of Network Engineering principles and implementations
Required Skills:
Expertise in configuring and setup of High Availability network architectures for classified facilities.
Network design and integration experience for classified networks
Design, procurement, installation, and configuration of relevant systems including Cisco Routers/Firewalls, Encryption, and Server Clusters
Design and configuration of VLAN/VRFs and routing protocols
Network security implementations of STIGs and patches
Clearance Level: Active Secret (minimum)
