Job Description
The Cybersecurity Program Control Officer is responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity project portfolio and maturity assessments, while being fully integrated into the local cybersecurity department.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Main Tasks
Project/Program Steering Support
Contribute to the definition, development, and implementation of a cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational and local objectives
Adapt cybersecurity project and program plans to local specificities, based on context and operational environment
Support preparation and facilitation of committees involving various stakeholders at different management levels
Report on and support program-related activities within the territory
Communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
Produce and maintain project documentation: plans, reports, risk assessments, and security procedures
Project Resource Management Support
Assist with budgeting processes and resource tracking (e.g., budget, FTE)
Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment
Lead local cybersecurity maturity assessments
Evaluate security risks based on internal cybersecurity frameworks
Collect, verify, and challenge maturity evidence
Contribute to project scoping efforts to meet maturity targets
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Technical Skills
Rules & Norms: Deep understanding of regulatory standards and ability to translate them into internal policies Expert
Regulatory Knowledge: General knowledge of IT and cybersecurity regulatory frameworks Expert
Control: Ability to verify operations and ensure procedures are followed Expert
Cybersecurity: Strong general knowledge of cybersecurity risks, frameworks, and requirements Expert
Risk Opinion: Ability to challenge, approve, and make decisions on new activities and projects Practice
IT Knowledge: Broad understanding of IT processes, assets, and solutions Practice
Business/IT Alignment: Ability to understand and integrate business needs Practice
Standards: ISO 27001 Expert, NIST Expert
Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Macros, PowerPoint) Expert
