Position Description:
Scope: Corporate Cybersecurity
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will actively participate in the continuous improvement of the organizations cybersecurity performance. This role involves a transversal understanding of the internal environment and departments, as it requires daily collaboration with various national and international counterparts.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
As a Vulnerability Management Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that all organizational assets are regularly scanned for vulnerabilities and that identified issues are remediated;
Monitoring the deployment of critical patches;
Ensuring that all eligible assets undergo regular penetration testing and that vulnerabilities are addressed;
Ensuring that all eligible assets are subject to regular code reviews and that identified issues are resolved.
Main Functions
Vulnerability Scans:
Monitor coverage of all assets by vulnerability scanning tools;
Ensure regular and successful scans of all assets;
Analyze scan results, prioritize issues, propose remediation plans, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
Critical Patches:
Analyze critical patch information and identify impacted areas;
Alert relevant teams about critical patch requirements;
Track the progress of patch deployment;
Prepare and communicate progress reports.
Penetration Testing:
Request and monitor penetration tests for eligible assets;
Analyze results, prioritize findings, propose remediation plans, and monitor their implementation;
Ensure the quality and compliance of penetration testing services with internal requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Key Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT field;
Broad understanding of IT systems;
Cybersecurity knowledge/experience is a plus;
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Ability to produce regular and ad hoc reports;
Advanced MS Excel proficiency.

Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
